Old guys in EVOs
I'm a 45 year old evo driver...It's not my daily driver, but a track car, I am competing in NASA time trials with it. Pretty much only drive it at the track. Amazing car, but yeah, I'm toot he point that I would feel a little rediculous driving around in it all day. Plus, it's not that comfortabel, is lound and bumpy, even in stock form...I see it as a tool really. Currently driving a 96 subaru Legacy as the daily driver, probably will move up to a new Mits Raider 4X4 V8 next year.
I was 48 when I bought mine. The salesman said they didn't sell too many Evos to people my age. I told him, "Well, help me with the payments and I'll go buy a Ferrari."
Since when are performance cars restricted to kids? (No offense meant to you rugrats)

I could careless what age the owner of the evo is.. As long as they are a car enthusiast thats all that matters...
Unlike the 350z owners where there are SOO many old people and only bought the car because of the mid-life crisis.

When I see an "older" Evo owner, it really makes me appreciate the Evo more to know that more than 2F2F Paul "Pssssh" Walker kids admire the Evo for what it really is. Being a younger guy, I have kids around me asking, "How does it make that 'pppshhh' sound? Did it come with a turbo?" When older folks see me driving, they probably see me as one of those 2F2F kids. But, their perception doesn't matter to me; all I care is that there are true enthusiasts out there, whether young or "old."
only 20 over that suck at least 30-40mph

my father LOVES my car (i also bought it from him @ at dealership that he works @) he always talks it up to his friends like its the best thing in the world.....hes always had muscle cars, he has a 65' GTO convertible with a 421 tri-power owned since before me.....and my evo runs door handle to door handle w/ it......and he thinks its great.
