i,d play it safe and get the tune, will probabely smooth out your idle also. when you get it done let us know the difference in power, driveability, etc. good luck

 

When I put in my HKS 264 in/272 ex I hit fuel cut at 6krpm, the car felt ok but not as much as you would think by droping in some cams. I had a dyno tune the next day at AMS by Martin and he massaged 40 whp/40wtq out of the tune alone. Bottom line...it will run with cams and no tune. Get a tune for best bang.

 

it'll work, but honestly, save the install until you have everything else done that you plan to do prior to a tune...Its not worth installing at this point in time for you.
