there are several stock turbos for sale in the "for sale" section. You could almost name your price, but around $350 would definitely be enough.

repeat after me..... your turbo is blown.

Go pull the intake piping off and look for metal/metal contact between the wheel and the housing. Let us know what you see.

shaft play is when you touch the compressor wheel... does it wiggle... if it does, that's bad. at the same time check for some polishing on hte inside... if you can see... use a mirror. it's prolly a dead turbo.

my god it blows me away how many people JUST DON'T READ THE THREAD!

I'd have to agree with the dead turbo theory, especially now since you've stated there's no power. If you're uncomfortable removing the intake tract to the turbo, then take it to a local shop for a quick inspection or post in your regional forum to see if anyone local would be willing to help you check it out in exchange for a 6-pack.

What you're describing (ie: superchager noise, loss of power) is the same thing that happened to my friend. The problem was that it was the gasket between the Turbo and the lower intercooler pipe. Take it to the dealer if you haven't already done so.
