Whats with my Evo!?!?

Well last night i was driveing on the highway... Then I hear this Whineing sound I thought it was my music. but it wasnt it was my evo. When Ever i hit boost i hear this loud wine sounds alot like a supercharger... I dont have a Boost gauge... Any ideas what it can be? Thanks Andy

Lol NO you got it Wrong... I know i have a turbo and its not Spooling Correctly.. Its makeing the same Sound as a Supercharger... Even in Nutreal if you Rev it.. It sounds like a lil scream.. And thats No where near a turbo sound.

Is the sound coming from the speakers? Do you only hear it in the cab or can you hear it from outside as well?

If it is making a loud whiny noise when building boost it might be the gasket between the turbo and the lower intercooler pipe.

I dont have a Boost Gauge... But my Waste gate still lets out air.

Do you have a sub and amp in the car? If the the power and rca wires are to close it can cause a whining noise whenever you give it gas.

No i just got a T C and the T C isnt in the Engine.... the sound is comeing from the E N G I N E Not the Speakers. or the Drive train

No i have the Stock SSL... It has nothing to do with the AMP or Radio... It has to do with the ENGINE
