Well after getting chummy with some guys on a Japanese Evo forum I found a really good store in Japan that sells some cheap parts. I am looking to buy some parts so I just want to know if you guys think I'm getting a good deal.

Defi BF gauges ranging from about 145 USD (for boost) to about 170 (for egt). The control unit is about 60 bucks USD. I guess that means I can grab a set for under 500 bucks? This is an excellent deal right? I just want to make sure I can't get anything like it back in the states.

Also, I was thinking of picking up this bad boy as well. As far as I know it is not sold in the States yet, the color Blitz R-VIT.

I am still a bit confused as to what this thing does though. Any Blitz R-VIT owners around that could give me some info??? What does it monitor, is it really useful? I think I can pick this piece up for about 320 USD, the non-color one is about 240.

Is it a good mod electronic to have???

Please give me some input guys, are these good deals? Should I bring some stuff back???

Uhmm... I smell something here. If there was a japanese forum I am sure we already knew about it. What forum is that?

If you can find those items for those prices then go ahead, I truly don't know if they will take forever to get here and I don't know if they will charge you some crazy shipping and taxes.

At least the vendors on this forum(most of them) have the items in stock and you know it wouldn't take too long.

Can you elaborate a bit more about getting those parts from your sources?

To give you an idea of how much Defis are here:

Control Unit - 100
All gauges - at least 200+

Then figure tax and shipping for buying new, not cheap.

first click this link on the left side of the page: "商品価格"

then scroll down until you find a picture of a Defi gauge and click on that. Then click on the defi logo, then you will be on the page with all the info and pricing on Defi Gauges.

It just so happens that the store is about 1 and a half hours away so I want to go buy some stuff! Great deals huh?

Also, if anyone can provide info on the R-VIT I would really appreciate it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It seems like a really cool little piece

When are you getting your evo? Anyway, those are killer deals. You wont find defi bf boost for under $215 shipped. Im sure its the same for the others that are even more expensive

 

I have booked my flight to California for August 5... so I should be grabbing the car on the 6th or 7th

The prices for the BFs seem out of this world, so I figure I'd be an idiot not to buy them, but I'm kind of nervous about buying that Blitz unit because I feel like there's a reason nobody uses it
