Stock Evo 9 + tune = power gain????
i got a flash and didnt get good results. i had soooo much knock i had to cut the timing in half almost. in my opinion ur better off getting a TBE then doing a tune but a custom tune... every car is different so i think mail in flashes are a waste to me.

if ur recalling a dropin only... that was the first 2 weeks I had the car. 6k later I do my own maps boost to 28psi and have 0 knock counts. there is others that say the same thing about mailin but I'm not saying names noteven the map I paid for cuz he is a good dude. I just think mailins don't work well.

A $199 mail-in flash will make more power than an $800 TBE.

I got my car EcuTek flashed over at TopSpeed, baseline was 261hp and 256tq...after flash the car made 300hp and 307tq... it made a huge diference... the car is completely stock, the only thing we did was remove the restrictor from one the boost lines... but, it definately needs a turbo back, once you get used to that power you always want more...and you want it to sound the part too...
