Your going to need more than just a flash to hit low 12's.

 

Well go to the website, I believe it says it can hit 12.3 with the flash

That is very interesting. I put 300 whp on my 8 with a tune and TBE. So, at least in this case, a 9 w/tune=8 w/tune and TBE.

 

its depends what alt. and temp. ur at? low 12s at sealevel at 75* outside... low 12s in nevada or anywhere with higher elevation i doubt it.. i used to get 12.9 with a flash on 100 race. when its winter im sure it will be low 12s in my region for just a flash so in all reality its not false advertisement.

 

Does anybody else not feel a gain with a eflash on a stock car.

 

Yeah I know what it says, but I know damn well its not capable of doing it unless maybe in the most perfect conditions.

I think its funny they go by crank horsepower as well.

 

I havent had my car on the strip yet but Ive done some pulls with cars that have gone 11.9 and low 12's and Im getting pulled by about a car. Im bone stock. Low 12's with the right driver is very possible.

 

You're not bone stock at all. You have the single most power-enhancing mod on an Evo IX. Don't forget that your boost is also raised, so that's 2 mods in one. Don't make it sound like you have no mods or something...

Also, the worst thing you can possibly do is some sort of comparison street racing to determine what you run in the 1/4. That's awful. Get to the track and verify, or don't mention it.

Lastly, I ran 12.2 with a cat-back, SAFC, and MBC on my 8. Combined, those cost less than a Vishnu flash, so people need to stop talking so much about the number of mods and start worrying more about the combined cost of mods...

 

Im not trying to make it sound like I am bone stock but as far as parts go I am BONE STOCK. Yes I have a flash. Im simply comparing what a tuned IX will do with a flash compared to cars that are running low 12's and high 11's. Who said I was street racing? I know I didnt. I was actually thinking you might have turned your attitude around but I was once again wrong and you proved how much a tool you really are. I will mention whatever I want when I want.

Uh, how can you say "I'm bone stock," then later say "I'm bone stock, EXCEPT for...." Either you're bone stock or you're not. A TBE doesn't give as much power as a custom flash on a IX, so why say bone stock? Your flash also modifies the boost hoses, thus giving higher than stock boost. That's 2 mods - not bone stock in any way, shape or form.

Then, you refute the street racing? Let's review what you said:

It wasn't "street racing," but you somehow know that these fast cars only pull you by a car? Ok, however you want to justify it...

Go ahead...mention whatever you want whenever you want and make claims without ever going to a track. It's awesome being a bench racer. Like everyone else, you will be sorely disappointed when you finally DO go to the track to get a real time instead of making claims without facts.
