30,000m tune up?

Just hit 30k miles and was wondering what mitsu says to do. I can't find my owners manual right now. If anyone could just tell me what I need to do that'd be great.

Thanks,
Austin

What? Just to change your oil, transaxle oil, transfer oil, and coolant?? Cause everything else is just "checking" which dealerships probably won't even do anyways! Then again they'll say they do and try to charge you for something else.

I'm around 30K now too. I'm doing all the work myself, and it will be a lot cheaper than $500 for parts (fluids and plugs).

Here's what I had done at the dealership when mine hit 30,000 miles:

Replace drive belt
Change transmission fluid
Change transfer case fluid
Change transaxle fluid

Total cost? About $530 or so. Total time it took? About 45 minutes once they had the car on the rack. Am I upset that it cost so much and looked to be relatively simple? Yeah, kind of. However, I'm not one to try something on my own unless I can watch and learn first. I'd love to do the maintenance myself, but I have neither the equipment nor the know-how to do it. So for now, I'll pay to have it done correctly. If anyone is willing to show me how to do it (in person), I'd never have the dealership do it again.

Also, the iridium spark plugs will last a long time - at least 60,000 miles. I wouldn't have the dealership replace those. They'll charge you about $21 per plug plus labor. Just buy some NGK's at Kragen and do it yourself.

with google and evo forums...or even downloading the tech pub you could have handled it. all i needed was to see where the plugs were on the t-case and the fill on the tranny...found a decent right up at evomoto or something.
