Long thread this one...LOL
All cool cars cost alot to own out of warranty...
I baught an extanded warranty with my BMW 323i for that very reason.
Whne a warranty is up it is up and it is up to you to get your car fixed before that.
Go to different dealers if need be.
any way good luck in the future.

Agreed on the mazdaspeed 6 they are really nice. I sat in one one day. Than the salesman came out with this thing will blow your EVO away for half the money. I laughed right in his face and told him I hope he doesnt tell other people that too I told him the car is about the same price jackass and asked him if he wanted to take a little cruise up the block to get his new car handed to him. Inside is sweet though.

They are nice though.... I just can't stand FWD though.
I test drove the MS6 and could have got a great deal on one. They are selling really cheap right now. The interior of the MS6 was really freaking nice. I could have got one with leather, nav, keyless ignition, the works.
But it's a big, heavy car and there are a fair number of people experiencing intermittent horsepower loss. As in half the power goes away unpredictably, when the ECU sees any detonation. You're supposed to run 93 octane which is almost impossible to get in California.
I picked the Evo and have zero regrets.
