Evo to 335i

Would you trade your Evo for the new BMW 335?

What do you say about Mitsubishi vs BMW?

From: somewhere testing various tires, brakes, and suspensions.
Two totally different cars, different class of cars, type of cars, type of owners, type of usage....

I wouldn't even consider it.

The cars are in completely different categories.

It depends on what kind of numbers the BMW tuners pull off, which won't be for a long while. What am I saying?!? Hell, no!! I am keeping my car. There will be no passing of the Grey Poupon.

In a heart beat. The bimmer is faster with just a tune, has a bigger motor (which is pretty rev happy for what it is) Did I mention that they pick up like 70 wheel with a tune, making about 350-360 average with a damn tune. More luxury, nicer paint, more of a classical sports car. I hate to say it, but I love two cars more than my evo, the m3 that just stopped being made, and the 335i tt.

I never test drove this new 335. How does it feel compared to the Evo?

I would appreciate a more detailed comment.

I would consider it, once the Evo is at about 75k and im ready for something new, which probably wont happen :P. It's going to be a quick car, with a nice interior obvisouly, but it will never compete with an Evo. My parents have a 2006 335i. Not even close handling wise.

I'm going to trade in my evo for a 335i sedan. Not just the first production year because of the bugs. I'm waiting on an 08.
on the e90 forum, there's already an issue which is overheating and a fella already blew out the engine on his e92 335i. He is of couse being taken care by BMW though.

Thats another thing, BMW actually backs up there cars well, and dosent mind if you do a little modding to it. Hell, there bumper to bumper warrenty includes oil changes.

Nope.
1) Money. I don't have the $$ to throw in on top for the 335i
2) Track Handling. I track my Evo and it handles amazing even in stock form
3) Exclusivity. I like being different and more rare; tons of bimmers around and the 3-series are difficult to set apart at first glance.
4) Potential. 4G63 aftermarket is huge.
