does meth destroy our cars?

right now im in a state where i just want to have my evo make badass numbers, and hand some asses to other cars on the freeway, pull good trap speeds and 1/4 mile times, at the time time i wouldn't mind road racing it and auto crossing and what not...to my point

a lot of people have "TOLD" me that meth is good, it wont mess up the car, as long as the tune is good, as long as you have a fail safe, etc.

i went by road race engineering and they lecutred me about how i better have money to replace the turbo, or the engine, etc. im mostly worried about the engine becuase replacing it is far from affordable for me...

i need basicaly to either be pushed one way or another here in this thread...

my goal is 400whp and a reliable daily driver(even though i dont drive it everyday) i want the car to hold up for atleat 4-5 years on a meth injection and im aiming for a 28-30psi spike...if i do a 28-30 psi spike how long would the turbo last before it craps out...and other than the meth failing...would my motor be getting beat down during all of this? thanks guys persaude me in the right direction...

50% methanol is totally safe for our cars, I have run 60+ gallons through my evo with zero issues with my car or the snow performance kit...look at the turbo grand nationals, they have been using this stuff since the 80s...

http://www.enginerunup.com/how-it-works-faqs/info_8.php.

This place has some pretty good info. I'm running 50/50 meth-injection on my gsx. There's a lot of benefits and haven't found any down sides yet. It doesn't foul my plugs, o2's, or wideband. I didn't log intake air temps, but my egt's are 40+*C cooler on WOT 3+4 pulls, and timing is much better. Did I mention it's running a t28 at 22psi on a sidemount. SLEEPER!!!

Please read and ask in the forum designated for water/alky injection.

Add some Vp Top Lube to the Meth. 1pint to a 55 gal tank. Keeps it from eating away at any Aluminum parts.

Got that tip from some serious NHRA guys.

Thought I'd pass it on.

The only way to avoid what you are saying is setup 4 injectors in each runner...

I think you mean VP M2™ Upper Lube.

From the VP Website:
"Leaves a thin film of lubrication to protect against corrosion between races. Protects valves, guides, cylinder walls, fuel pumps, and aluminum fuel systems for methanol powered engines. Extends pump life."
