I did, but it was for 350z. I bought combo drilled/slotted with hawk pads from one of ebay store. Didnt work that well. Vibration and hair line cracked after week or so. I replaced with centric blank rotors and pads that sold from Z vendor, great and wasnt expensive either.

Some had really good luck from it tho, but i wasnt.

Idk....I mean like others have said if anything goes wrong with it its $200 for a new one. I could buy almost 5 new full turbo backs for the price of one ams one...hmmm....
I'm very happy with mine, I had stickers made lol.
The sound is great, quite subdued compared to the turbo miatas I beat in autox this past weekend

I'll take some vids when my gopro arrives this weekend

I did that on my BMW when I was younger. I had no problems 75k miles on mine and they didnt warp like my OEM ones. I didn't race the car so I don't know the true quality.. Not something to chance on a high hp vehicle imo...

You guys should check out www.treadstoneperformance.com their stuff seems to be great quality and it's an American company. I don't know if they sell anything on ebay. My understanding is they use spearco cores and I've seen them do over 1000whp on setups with their intercoolers. I just picked one up so we'll see how it goes here soon.

just got an evo 9 J-pipe from seller authentic-boosting, the portion that meets up with the turbo was a little smaller than stock but the holes for the gasket matched up. so i ported a good amount of it to match up and will throw on a few small spot well for added security. I also got turbo manifold and hotside gasket set from them and the turbo gasket seem to be working just fine, but I will know more when I switch back to my ported stock manifold.

I have two short videos I'll try and toss up today off my car...both are with the gopro mounted on the rear bumper aiming backwards

the camera can't really capture the resonance in off-throttle, in-gear situations but when accelerating the sound is pretty close to normal

bought some parts from a store called gofasttunerparts a few times, all oem stuff but it was nice to find evo parts at a fair price. Guy sells parts from evos, stis, srts, m3's, etc. everything turned out just like i hoped.

Ebay Torque Damper - think it's worth it or should I stay away from this and get one for $110 from rexpeed?

ebay tbe ftl.... The downpipe fit like ****. I had to beat a flat spot into it to get it to fit and even so it barely did. It came with the wrong size donut gasket and only one 3" 2 bolt gasket, instead of 3. I guess you get what you pay for... lol

This is the one I bought: http://www.ebay.com/itm/110811280644...#ht_3977wt_871

All in all, it sounds good... I'll try to post up a vid. But was a hassle, and the seller hasn't responded to me regarding compensating me for the gaskets. lol

sounds more like you didn't do your research before you bought a part. 05-06 evo's need a different downpipe design than 03-04 because of the ACD. if you bought a pipe that's fairly straight you will have to pound a flat spot into it so it clears everything. If you bought a really zig-zaggy pipe and it doesn't fit then it's just luck of the draw. don't know why you'd need 3 gaskets either, the only one you would be replacing is the downpipe -> cat gasket. donut gasket I'd just reuse the stock one or buy one specifically designed for the o2 housing you have

edit: just saw both the recent posts were yours- gaskets sucks but really you're not losing much; i'd recommend getting better 3" ones anyways. the ones that come with ebay stuff are lackluster. the downpipe in that set isn't designed for an 05-06 evo, it's for the earlier models so you're on your own with that one not fitting as well as it should
