have a td06slr turbine and 20g compressor wheel from kamak and kinugawa in my evo9 turbo and it works really good and hasnt died. has seen up to 24-25 lbs on e85 and still no shaft play. i am running 10w40 full synthetic oil and make sure the turbo is always being properly lubricated. also, my dump tube is from ebay and works really good and has yet to fall off lol...

The down pipe I got off eBay sits really close to my tcase. Like only heat wrap separates it from sitting right on it

i wouldnt trust the ebay intercoolers too much iv heard alot of stories about how they fail if you try to make 2 back to back runs at the track and alot of the stories could be found on here plus theres this

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...cts-truth.html

and i understand that its being compared to a buschur intercooler but if you read it states that it doesnt keep the air cool which its supposed to do.

"Here is the BAD part.

Air temp after the intercooler at the start of the pull, 62.60 degrees.
Air temp after the intercooler at the end of the pull, 122 degrees!! That is an increase in air temp of 59.4 degrees in a single gear pull!
Peak boost went up which I find strange as it hit 42.1.

The knock count went up considerably with these higher air temps. To run the car safely I would need to pull atleast a few degrees of timing."

I've got those and they fit and look great! DEPO is usually a good brand to purchase lighting from in my experience.

Anyone have any input on the Ebay torque dampers?!?

I wish there was a headlight depo option for our headlights, 1400 is kinda expensive for fog lights...

I run a Buschur FMIC in my car. Its the older rear exit model but has held up great for years.I also run a BR exhaust. The exhaust came on the car and the IC i got a great deal locally. The test was performed by a competitor so take it with a grain of salt. Also, "ebay" products are available from quite a few different companies making vastly different qualities

Ive ran ebay parts on a few different vehicles over the years and have had mostly good luck. As far as parts like intakes, TBE, IC piping, hood shocks, lights etc; There isnt a whole lot to go wrong with them. A 3" pipe is a 3" pipe. The fitment may be better on the name-brand,maybe would flow a bit better because of that, but unless your pushing serious HP you probably never know the difference.

As far as moving parts with tighter tolerances, or parts where part failure has catastrophic possibilities: NO. I wouldnt buy an ebay water pump. Or a radiator.Or motor mounts.

If i can purchase a part for $500 bucks and gain 9hp, cool: if i can buy a part for $200 and gain 7hp (and as long as its not internals or "important" parts, ill give up the 2-3hp and save the money towards having the big guys like buschur rebuild my motor

Kunigawa makes quality parts. Take a look at the Kunigawa exhaust manifold for the Evo 8's and 9's and the MAP "short runner" manifold that is twice the price.

Just because it's on E-bay doesn't make it crap. Ever seen an OBX intercooler and ETS intercooler side by side?
