I have. There is a blindingly obvious quality of materials and worksmanship difference in appearance before we even consider how much differently they fit and perform. I recognize that this thread is all about trying to justify to yourselves that cheap parts and labor are as good as quality parts and USA craftsmanship (good luck with that), but this is just a ridiculous statement that I couldn't ignore.

^ Seems legit? It's got pictures of the install which is good. Trying to find a decent TBE for my Evo 9.

Any one got any links to theirs that they've bought and installed?

What do you mean by lays 2 low? Just curious because I'm debating between this and spending the money on a more expensive one. Also is this design goin to be worse than others? It looks almost identical to other licp designs from reputable vendors. Thanks!!

This is an exact copy of the first generation AMS lower intercooler pipe design. Evo M has really gone down the gutter

Nothing but a bunch of lemmings here now.

Downpipe wont fit on yours if you still have ACD.

I would personally get something like the ETS licp. The only taper on it is from the coupler on the J pipe, and its a sturdy piece. The extra coupler on that ebay one is just another potential boost leak as well, imo.

Also, over time, engine movements and pipe movements can cause that coupler to tear a hole from rubbing on that lower oem tow hook piece because it sits so close to it. My evo came with a an older AMS style licp very similar to that ebay one and that coupler over time had developed a tear from rubbing. I swapped it out for an ETS which doesn't hit that piece, has excellent fitment, and has no connection at that point so less chance of failure.

Its A two piece licp with A coupler in the center so installed it sits low Because of the coupler it has flex and tapers down and I've tried correcting it but still sits low, plus potential boost leak. Go with A one piece licp and save yourself a headache. Another thing is if it had A mounting bracket than this would be great.
