Hold on, guys, these are not normal if it's a Dynojet. It should be around 330whp on a Dynojet, but if it's a DynoDynamics or Mustang Dyno, then 305 is probably very good. Riceball, your numbers are still higher despite 91oct and a restrictive cat.

What do you mean by "the turbo"? MRs don't have a different turbo. The only difference is the 10.5 hotside, which is good, but it's not a different turbo. No, the hotside wouldn't make that much difference.

In all Reality... something is wrong! You should be putting way more power with those mods. I would say at least 340whp.

The guy has a tuned AEM EMS, so no on the "turbo and tune," and there is no MR turbo...it's just the 05 turbo.

you're splitting hairs... It differs to the stock 03 turbo...hotside whatever...hotside will make a difference...boost efficiency

Tune ...was his tune aggressive? Aggressive Vs Non aggressive tune?

Lets throw in a boost leak?

I got 301whp w/ 93oct. on a dyno called dynomite..Just recently I took of the bov and replaced it with the stocker and also replaced the stock intake w/ a injen uicp/ and intake..Now the car runs alot better it's more smooth and torqueier..Maybe I'll get higher numbers w/ the next tune.

I put down 308whp on a dyno dynamic, on a dynojet 344whp with simular modes. Thats a 12% difference on the two dynos.

Not splitting hairs at all. That's twice we've had reference to an "MR turbo," and there is no such thing. Don't think for a second that some noobs won't read that and start thinking MRs have a different turbo just like the tons of people who thought the IX came with a 20g just because of the IX-20G that was released and all the people who STILL think the MRs come with an aluminum BOV just because they're MRs. Misinformation like that happens all the time.

So, just the hotside difference would be nowhere near 45whp, and not even a 10.5 + flash over a 9.8 + AEM EMS unless it really wasn't tuned. This thing was dyno tuned, so it's not because of a difference in aggressiveness, but it could be due to a poor tune (not likely, but possible), a boost leak (as you referenced), or any number of other things.

Are you planning on going to a bigger turbo set up? Just curious because 750cc injectors seem overkill for a light BPU evo. You should be nowhere near a dangerous duty cycle with your stockers and it seems that the 500 dollars spent on the injectors could have gotten you a lot more power.

My Mods:stock box w/ filter box off, Hks 264/272 cams, walbro 255 fuelpump, Hks 2.75 dp, Helix 3.0 high flow cat, Hks TI ext., EBC, turbosmart bov== basic tune.
At what boost levels? I could be mistaken, but I think AMS dyno reads a little lower than some dynojets.
