305whp Thats It??
It's not an issue, really. It's just that it reads like a Dynojet as Evoryder mentioned. You can see this in your stock numbers. Most 03s didn't make near that much power in stock form even on a Dynojet, much less a Mustang Dyno. Hell, my 05 made those same numbers on a Dynojet in 50-degree weather, so that gives you a good comparison, and I ran 13.1@104, which is very rare for a stock 03. On regular Mustang dyno's, you would see right around 200-205whp on a stock 03.
Doesn't matter, though, because you got before and after numbers, so you know you had great gains.

But what does "accurate" mean? There is no "accurate" because all dynos read differently. What we've seen is that the AMS TUNING (don't call them AMS, since that confuses people) Dynomite dyno reads just like a Dynojet, which means your numbers are quite low if you have cams or they are just right if you have no cams with stg1 mods (tbe/mbc/flash).

^You're right. The IX was mentioned twice, though I know the thread was about the VIII. I suppose I should have introduced my question differently, but I didn't realize my wording would be jumped upon rather than members who have a higher knowledge base about the mechanical workings of the Evo answering a query from a fellow Evo member. For that...my bad.

I don't wonder why people have a problem with me - I wonder why people are so <can't finish the sentence, sorry>...

Holy crap, apevo8. You really opened a can of worms here.
To answer your question, we have a few of our own. To summarize mine and everyone else's;
-What kind of dyno was this on?
-Any idea of the correction factor being used?
-What was your overall a/f ratio?
-How much boost are you running?
-What fuel are you using? (not brand, but octane)
All of this would help us to judge you're dyno results and determine if you could get more out of your car. More questions could also be asked as well, but at least this gives us a good stating point.

I made 279 hp and 285 tq at buschurs with a custom tune w/ecuflash mods are 680cc injectors, walbro 255, clipped turbo,21psi, 93 octane ,2.3 stroker, intercooler and lower ic piping, TBE w/test pipe, 264 cams from hks, and ats clutch. I always thought my dyno numbers were low. My afr max was 11.5. What do yall think about my numbers? And buschurs dyno is a mustangdyno. I think my numbers are really low and my car doesnt feel any faster when they did the cams stroker and the tune. Spent a lot of money and felt no gains. Only difference I feel is the car runs smoother and boost is a little sooner but where is the extra power?

We think alike.
