exhaust install??
exhaust is kinda heavy......but only becasue its so long.....It felt heavier then bench pressing the evo tranny haha. Just make sure you center everything soo you wont have leaks and dont try to bolt on the exhaust in one piece.
Just did it last night on my buddies IX. We used Rhino Ramps to lift the front of the car up, then when we got to the rear of the car we slightly lifted the passengers side up with a jack so we could fit under there. A few friends that are willing to get a little dirty are also nice. They will come into play when you lower the exhaust down and when you need some tools that aren't in reach.
I don't even know how this is possible...How thin is your head???
You'll definitely want to jack your car up. 2ton jack stands (4K pounds) are fine, but just make sure you use proper jacking points (several posts on this -- so search).
You may want to (highly recommend) have the downpipe coated by Swain before installing to keep heat off the transfer case and oil pan (very very close) or wrap the DP in thermal wrap. Although you can do the install at home, it is MUCH easier to do on a lift (at a shop) and would only cost you ~50 - 75 so I'd recommend just having a shop install it for you.
Good luck
