Does anyone have any Evo owning regrets?
I was just thinking about it...It's not like "Does anyone regret buying an Evo" or "Does anyone regret buying Evo, not STi"......
I was actually thinking about something that people did/or didn't do since getting an Evo...Something that they would have changed, since they've got more knowledge....
I can say that I wish I wasn't driving like crazy for first 6 month of my ownership, I put around 20K miles on it. And then in 3 months I only put around 2K.....
I'll think about more, nothing for right know. I'm sure I'll be able to come up with something.....
Just thought might be a good thread, General forum is not that busy anyways....

I regret getting too wrapped up in the car. When I got it, it consumed me and became part of my identity. That's just not healthy. It was beginning to take the place of other more important things in my heart.
I don't know why Evo owners should regret. Think of how many people out there that wish to own an Evo but couldn't afford it, and yet we're able to obtain a nice piece of machinery.
We should be happy and enjoy what we have. Well atlease I am.

i regret getting this car in some ways. its 10 months old, i bought it brand new and ever since i bought it i've been driving it pretty hard. i've planned on many many upgrades but so far i've spent most of my money on replacing the original parts such as my clutch went out at 6000 miles $1000, had to replace all of my tires $1000, replaced break pad and rotors $700. so far the only aftermarket upgrades have been intake and turboback exhaust. plus last month i experienced some hard core boost leak and found out i was leaking vaccum from the o2 sensor. long story short, i've never experienced this many problems on a brand new $35,000 car EVER. but hopefully it will all be worth it after many upgrades
I regret it every day because of how much i pay for it, and in all reality i can't afford it.
Though i have had it well over a year now, and i don't see myself getting rid of it anytime soon... It just makes me too happy, i can't see myself in any other car.

Hmmm...having this car is like being in a relationship. It requires a lot of money, time, and patience.
I think I only regret not getting Tarmac Black....and really I wish they had the GG in 03.
