4g63T, 4g63NA and the 1.8L.
Non turbo ,2gs ,95-97 had the neon motor 420a the converitable has the 4g64a, get it right man.
The 4g63T that's in the Evo is the same with mods for higher HP/durability.

GL on that 100k timing belt change. That's why the majority of DSMs are in the
wrecker yards now. Nice body and interior, bad engine. T-belt broke....people
taking chances with maintenance. That's cool though, I'll be there picking the
bones and reselling the parts. I met a guy on the side of the road with a beautiful
97 Eclipse with 169k on the OEM T-belt !!! It finally broke. Sucks for him. I can go on,
and on dude....but I digress. The answer has been posted for the umpteenth time. I'm done.

95-99 also had a 4g63, as well as the convertable GST.

lol damm right..changin the tbelt on a evo is a BIIIG bi&*CHH. ive had my crank pulley mysteriously fall off on the freeway and ruin the threads on the crank sprocket. i replaced all the stuff myself i didnt change the t belt but i wish i would have as i had everything off

. jus to get the t belt loose is like a 2 hour job. it makes soo much sense to replace..ur tensioner belts and water pump dam near everything accessible while ur doin the belt. jus because its so much work why not save time do everything and put ur self at ease for the next 60k. way better spending 600-700 then buying a new motor because u were lazy...
