How about 5 things I hate, and 5 things I love? Just to even it out.

I hate:

5. Less than stellar interior (but then again, the Evo isn't made for looks, and a few touch ups in my MR SE help it stand out)

4. Mileage (but to be expected, and not too bad considering the performance)

3. Crappy stock tires in the winter (but that can be changed)

2. The stereo...first thing to go

1. Notchy shifting

I love:

5. The high power for low cost

4. The sophistication (clean as a bimmer, but not nearly as uptight)

3. The incredible handling

2. The seemingly endless possibilities

1. The looks I get as I drive down the road

 

thank you... you people spent anywhere between 28-40 thou with taxes and crap... on your evo's... and now yo're complaining... it's not german... if you want to wear a collard shirt and a tie and look uppity... get a european car... if you want to break necks... and make people feel slow get a Evo... me i got a TB MR... everywhere i go i break necks... people in SL500 giv me props... the car is fine... enjoy it... and drive it...

 

ACD and Yaw are two different things... USDM evo's do not have YAW
Yaw is to send power to rear wheels through corners... ACD sends power between front and rear axel

I forgot to mention the Floor mats are too thin and cheap

 

first off, first thing that was taken off was the stock 05 tails
second i had to put in a better radio
third i feel the quality of the enkei wheels isnt as good as other manfactures wheels. my 02 acura rsx stock wheels stood up to everything not one scratch these wheels on the evo i have chips, scratches the whole 9 yards. as soon as my income tax comes in im calling subydude and throwing a nice set of rotas on this *****!

 

Dislike:

1. Paint (not so important)
2. Low end torque (2.3L would be ideal)
3. Brakes should be better (fade very soon) ( A good aftermarket pad solves this)
4. Weight (should be lighter)
5. Not the car but... Mitsubishi Assistance (Mechanics that are stupid)
6. Hard on bump streets (Not so important, I bought the car for performance)
7... hummm.... ? ? ?

I Like:

1. Mod friendly
2. Tons of aftermarket parts
3. Handling
4. Mid range power and torque
5. Seats
6. Stable at high speeds

 

Are you worried about the window, radio, cruise control?
That's funny!

This car is pure performance, not a luxurios car.

I do not care with electric windows, air conditioning, radio, interior look...

The car needs to be light as possible, to be as powerful as possible, to be reliable and torquey.

 

I only have two things I don't like about my Evo.

1.) Passengers always want to after I take them for a ride.

2.) Not enough room in the back seat for .

Any dislikes beyond that is for crybabies.

man, this thread shouldn't even be allowed! i mean c'mon guys ya'll are totally dawgin your bad a** evo's here. i don't like reading these lists. but to keep on subject (haha) id say the payments and blue interior. if the seats were black/black or grey/black that would be sick. wonder how hard it would be?

Cruise control is the only thing that I wish it had on it (but is easy to install). Otherwise call me crazy but I love the ride quailty (put in to perspective that it is a all out performance car). To me the EVO is the perfect all around car!
