momo wheel problems?

is anyone else having problems with their oem momo wheel on the IX's? mine had a little lip/seam where the leather meets at the bottom and it seperated a week after i got the car (brand new)

got it replaced under warantee and the new wheel has a little lip too. my buddies IX MR doesn't have a seam there at all, almost like both ends are rolled up inside where mine sit on top of one another

I've seen some with the lip peel that you are talking about. I have also seen others without it. I wonder whats up with that?

Wow, you mean to tell me there is a possible warranty issue with the OEM steering wheels? Thanks for the heads up!

Yep, just got my IX this weekend, and already contacted the dealer over this issue. It's like the leather is wrapped over at the bottom and supposed to be sealed, but mine's not. Really cheap looking, and will be having it replaced.
