DynoJet vs. DynoDynamics
Thank You! So Dyno Dynamics is spot on, this is all I was asking. 220-225whp is exactly what I thought a stock evo puts down. Basically if I want to know what kind've power my car is putting down, I should do it on DynoDynamics. DynoDynamics is spot on with the Dyno Mitsubishi uses, case closed.
An 03-04 will put out ~225 on a Dynojet.
An 05 will put out ~245 on a Dynojet.
An 06 will put out ~260 on a Dynojet.
On a DD, it's about the same variation, but the numbers are lower. That does not mean a damn thing, though. It's just a different scale.
if you want some good insight, without unproductive input, pm me, and ill put u in contact with some people

Unbelieveable. You still don't get it. You're completely hopeless and have no idea what you're talking about. The published CRANK numbers by Mitsu mean NOTHING. The 05s and 06s are underrated at the crank, and IXs _do_ put out as much as 40whp more than 03-04s on the SAME dyno. It doesn't matter if it's a freakin DD or Dynojet. Good God.

I just finished telling you that the 05-06 Evos are UNDERRATED BY MITSU!!! How hard is that for you to understand??? No one said they only have a parasitic drivetrain loss of 25whp. I said that the published crank numbers mean NOTHING. Do you know what they post for the STi? It's 300HP. Ok, then tell me why the Evo IX with a published 286HP can run as quick as 12.7-12.8 in the 1/4 mile with great driving and trap as high as 107-108 in great conditions, yet the STi can't get close to that. Then, tell me why an 03-04 can't get close to that even though it's only rated 15HP lower. You just don't freakin' have any common sense - that's the problem.
If you believe an 03-04 Evo puts down 225whp on a Dynojet, and you consider that "accurate," then how come you don't believe an 06 IX puts down 260 (and I've seen as high as 275) on the same Dynojet when it can run 4-5mph faster in the 1/4-mile??? Explain your logic on this, please. When you're done with that, then tell me why you think 180-190whp on a DD or Mustang Dyno is "accurate" for an 03 that is rated at 271 to the crank. You do realize that is as high as a 33% drivetrain loss, right?
UNBELIEVABLE!!
Why am I typing this for the 4th time? YOU STILL DO NOT GET IT!!!!!!!

I'M DONE WITH THIS THREAD. I SIMPLY WANTED TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN EACH DYNO AND WHY THE WHP#'S ARE SO DIFFERENT.
