does anybody run with out the under tray

i was wondering if there was any people running their evos with no under tray.
and if there are any real problems with not running it
the stock piece is a pain in the *** to tkae out and blocks the front jacking point.

I have run without it for 12k

no real issues

running without it supposedly cause a little more drag...I don't know how much or if that is even proven

ive had mine off for a good 50k or so... maybe more

about 95% of the evos here in vegas take it off when they do something (like and exhaust) and never put it back on.

my opinion is if you work on the car a lot or just don't want to deal with the clips it's not worth it at all to keep it on

If you stay on asphalt only you should be fine. I have to drive over dirt and gravel to get home. The accumulation on my undertray makes me glad I have it on...

Took mine off to do the motor mounts and have not put it back. I plan to run with an undertray though, just not the factory one.

Wouldn’t there be issues with water splashing up on things? I mean say everything is really hot and gets splashed with a cool puddle you might hit, could that be a problem for anything that is now exposed?

I haven't had it in like 15,000 miles and no problems here, it is so much easier to oil changes with out it.
