well guys its one of those things that you thought never could happen to yourself,
I was driving 25 talking on my cell and my engine decided to go, no idea what happened but i have two holes about the size of a dollar bill on either side of the block.

my mods were stage 1-4, evo green, metholal injection, and a reflash.....pics up soon and most likely a part out on its way.....

How much boost were you running?

 

i was running 28 when ripping on it, but the car wasnt driven hard for about 3 days and blew at 25 miles an hour

 

25 mph? You were under vacum and it blew? Another reason I want to get rid of that balance shaft ASAP.
So what's your plan of attack, 2.3 or 2.0? Bushar, AMS, JAM....Personaly I would look at JAM, very good prices for a quality product. They had a Stage III 2.3 for around 2700, Stage II head around 1600. Should work great with the Green!

I guess there Pros and Cons when living with parents, this must be one of the cons. I wouldn't sell it, you'll take a big lose, just hang on to it until funds are available. You would be surprised what a few months will give you, if you just hang in there. Best of luck.

 

why dont you put the car back to stock...tow it to the dealer and have them replace the engine. the first one is on them...second one you pay.

Kills the rod bearings, they spin and break rods at any time.
