I'm talking about the engines you weirdo without a cause. Look up the difference in a T56 tranny vs the Evo's tranny and then get back to me if you want to get into the weeds... which I'm actually interested in knowing. We don't even know what tranny he will be using to make it AWD yet. Anywho... this guys T56 RWD tranny is more than likely lighter than a 4WD tranny (2 less driveshafts and 1 less gearbox/diff)???? Derrr.

As for the radiator... so you feel that this FrankenEvo needs some sort of cast iron radiator of your choosing or something like that? Radiators don't weigh that much and the Evo's radiator will do just fine supporting 500+ hp... Isn't he using a Evo radiator anyway?

If this Saudi can afford to do a crazy conversion like this... don't you think that he can afford a trick lightweight radiator of his choosing? Answer---yes. (He's using the stock Mitsu radiator FYI). He can probably afford a carbon fiber driveshaft, carbon fiber body panels, etc. etc. etc.

This car will be sick, cool, and kick all kinds of dirt into the faces of all you haters. It will probably be slower than a fully tricked out time attack Evo... but I don't think that this guy gives a F*@%. He's got an LS1 powered Evo... who in the world can say that... just him.

Hell, there are LS1 powered motorcycles out there FYI(they are called boss hoss's) .... and my bike will whoop it's *** on a track... but my bike is one of a few thousand made. I don't care, I like a fine piece of engineering that goes fast as stink. This guy likes to do something unique. Mo power to him.

Is there a point at which an Evo can be so modified that it is no longer really an Evo?

Yes there is. In this case, this Evo has gone through total bastardization that it no longer represents what the Evo stands for. That car can no longer perform like an Evo, but more of like a Corvette, maybe even worse than a S/C Vette. Hats off to the tehnicians that did the swap, shame on the idea.

I guess when you own an oil field and are bored and are so filthy rich, I guess a project like this will definately be exciting and give you something to do......

Guys, I want u to know one thing, the same day the car was tested and had been seen on the rods of Riyadh Saudi Arabia, as a matter of fact after 2 hours of being seen on the rods I posted this thread here to make EvoM the first site in the world to have info about this 1st LS1 Evo conversion.
I did it as I have respect for this site not to spike you guys, am a 4g63 guy and I will never do this convertion, but again I must give my friends the credit for what thy have done.

this is the Vid for any one who didn’t see it
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWW0-gQMWCc

And again it was done by the owner him self Mr. Abdulaziz el Reshead, and didn’t cost any thing crazy, as a matter of fact he sold the 4g63 and from the cash he got he got the LS1 which is sold so cheap here and the SC he had from a another car, so it didn’t cost him as much as u guys think.

And by the way he got the Evo to use it as an evo but by time he thought why not do something new and crazy

Take care all

Opinions should be able to be voiced whether good or bad.Otherwise why post it for onlookers?
