I let two friends drive my first Evo and I learned not to let anyone drive my second Evo but me. My frineds drove a Celica and a Civic and when they entered the world of forced induction they simply got well to happy. So I had to lay the rules down on my current Evo.

Same deal here. If they really need to drive something they can mash on the bmw or the honda.
No one drives the Evo besides me!

My father is the only one who has driven the car without me in it.

Aside from that I let my brother drive it once (kinda hard, but he lets me drive his camaro a lot if I need to)

and my fiance drove it once (semi-teaching her stick, she knows the concept and learned on my eclipse a few years ago, but isn't confident yet)

^True too, it get annoying when friends keep asking over and over again and they get the same answer.

My dad drove my car and asked why it was so slow (keep in mind he's not shifting pass 2.5k lol)

Not only no but heck no. Learned the hard way back in 1994 not to let anyone drive my car. Did let a good friend drive it down the road with me in it of course. That happened twice with the 06, before Buschur Stage 1 and after. Don't see it happening again unless it is an emergency (life or death).

As long as the person is family or friend and will appreciate driving it I will lend it to them for a bit. A cousin of mine lent me his corvette when I first started driving and it was awesome to drive a performance car when I wouldn't have gotten the chance otherwise until several years later. It feels good to me to let someone who loves cars drive a car that performs like an Evo. Like I said, as long as they appreciate it. I have also taught several people to drive stick on my Evo as well. Share the love I say.
