I am going to go with a big HELL NO on this one. I've only let my father and one of my good friends who knows how to drive well take a test spin. If I ever let anyone borrow the Evo i already know they would probably do some stupid stuff in it.

Borrow? No. Drive it with me in the passenger sea? Sure. I let me friends and family drive it. Why not? If they're your friends, they won't **** it up or do any hard launches. My friends are cool about not being dicks, so it's no biggie to me every now and again. Usually I will point them in a direction and place where the can get on it, but other wise they drive it like a Civic, so who cares...

I let family members drive it, but they don't know **** about cars (they do have to know how to drive stick though) so they just putz around and are non-the-wiser the the Evo's evil side.

there was an exception when i let someone drove my car. when i first bought my car i wasnt really good at stick (only had like 30 minutes of experience driving a stick ever) so i had a friend drive it home ALONE.. while i was in the other car
but now... No one gets to drive it!!!

and it does get annoying when they keep asking to drive it.

Very very few people have ever had the pleasure of sitting behind the wheel of my evo and me letting them pilot it. Never alone im always with them.

Man your father was nice about it, this is what my father told me. Here's the picture, im 17yo and my father has a 1965 Pontiac GTO Convertiable its got a 421ci big block with a tri-power (3 duces), and a hurst 4 speed. It runs pretty good. I finally get up the nut and ask him if I can drive it. After some thinking he says "ok". I get in the driver seat and start the car, im so afraid of so many things at this point im shaking. He looks at me and I quote, "Michael, if you wreck this car you had better kill one of us."

I only let people drive it if they give me a deposit on a new TC.

Haha, I know it funny now, but then I just about got back out of the drivers seat and handed him the keys back.

no one, no way, no how! when i first got the car, my bf drove it to see how it was; i trust him bc he's had 2 evos & knows what to look for. he's the only person if i had to chose. [although he never let me try his out lol] but since it's my car, i still wanna be there.. i was stupid as to let my dad drive the car one day. he's an amazing manual driver, used to race at the tracks back in the day--until his *** started driving my little evo too hard and making it squeal. i punched him in the arm & said "get outta here; ya done."

I let the woman take it to a job interview once instead of her busted a$$ Escort. Other than that, no one drives my car.

Girlfriend took it for a ride without me, she probably broke something but theres nothing I could do about it from 800 miles away.

Let the best friend drive/launch. He roasted the clutch but he deserved it.

Brother and friend zipped around in it, they weren't good to it but they could both afford it.

I want my dad to drive it but hes pretty wimpy about it. Other than that nobody drives it.
