I'm sure you got the right kit man. If the turbo is SOOOO small you'd be getting boost quicker not later so I'm not sure what your confused about. It's obviously not that small and if the car runs and drives fine like you said then there is no major problems with the kit i.e. leaks, incorrect parts....

listen for air rushing out of exhaust components or black "soot" around seals.

GT35R + pump gas just won't make sense... if you really only want to run pump gas it's the wrong turbo.

+1 ^ What he said... + Add some 272/272 cams and it will spool up even faster. Just needs a bit of work.

Good luck. hopefully you get everything sorted out. IMO those 35R's take away all the fun of owning an Evo.

Before teh car was retuned after my recent parts, i made 360 on a mustang that reads supposivly as high as dyno jets..

Way to much money for n 18yo? im paying for all of my parts.. only thing i didnt pay for is the car and partial insurance. so i guess i do have to much money.. even thou im broke lol

Yes it does seem extremly laggy.. exhaust leak was a good idea from the one guy.

i will reupload some pics when i get home

Thats EXACTLY what im saying. The turbo seems and looks SMALLER then a 35r, and spools later then one

So what i want to know is what couple possibly be wrong with my car.. and one idea was n exhaust leak.

Car drives fine when its daily driven.. i havent had any problems even with vta bov on stock ecu,but when its wot.. and driven hard or at the track it just doesnt feel consistant with the money ive putten into it.

poor tuning + no timing + no cams + 35R + stock motor + pump gas + stock head + no boost controller (WG Pressure) = LAG!

DId you contact buschur? Did you have someone really look at the turbo to see if it's the wrong size? Boost leaks?

You probably have a very conservative tune as well. You did not even have ARP Headstuds before you installed a 35R..... Do you have cams in the car?

I hate to say but adding some cams would definetly help with the situation.

I am sure you know this but you will make more power on a 50 trim kit with pump gas and meth than a 35R kit on pump. YOu know as well as everyone that this turbo is made for 28-35PSI....

Who is tuning your car if you don't mind?

If your hitting full boost (24psi) at 6000rpms something is definitley wrong. I have a 35r running at 26psi and i see just under 5k, it's really not laggy at all. I'd say get the AEM on there and bring it to a reputable AEM tuner and I'm sure it will make a huge difference once the car has a good solid tune on it.

the exhaust leak would only make sense if it was comming from the exhaust manifold, not after the exhaust.

and yea man, damn i wish i had as much money as u do now, let a lone when i was 18.

Its simple then you gotta take pics and or part numbers and contact buschur. Your just beating around the bush going about it this way. You dropped alot of money, make sure you got what you paid for

But it DOESN'T SPOOL LATER THAN ONE! Thats what I'm trying to tell you.

This is the problem with EvoM. Now your going to worry the kid. He thinks he should be getting boost at just under 5k now.

You have a BUILT 2.1L
AEM EMS PROPERLY TUNED
280'S
Alcohol
and I'm willing to bet head work.
