https://secure.buschurracing.com/cat...e.php?pID=1096, thats what my br 35r compressor housing looks like.the turbine housing is from forced performance the fp30 turbine housing.its a tiny looking housing.i made less than 400 @whp with 93 octane and 93+ meth 496 @whp, i was pi##ed thats all it did at 32psi.i must of had 10k + into just the engine parts.i feel your pain money wise and being disappointed.

somebody must be able to explain this better?

I agree exhaust help increase spool like an intake does (both free up restriction) but cams won't help spool since they don't reduce restriction in any way??

things that help spool:
- exhaust
- intake
- timing
- electronic boost controller (can flutter wastegate?)
- I/C (smaller pressure drop)
- charge pipes that don't flex or reduce length

what else?
Smaller Turbo needs to be #1 on that list.

Also anything improving VE of your engine will help spool, including PROPERLY sized camshafts.

So what i want to know is what couple possibly be wrong with my car.. and one idea was n exhaust leak.

Car drives fine when its daily driven.. i havent had any problems even with vta bov on stock ecu,but when its wot.. and driven hard or at the track it just doesnt feel consistant with the money ive putten into it.
If you know your car is not running right...due to poor installation/crappy tune why in the world would you drive around "hard" or take it to "the track" to test the money you have put into it....might wanna chill out til you get ur problems resolved...street pulls and passes at the track are not gonna solve your problems...

wow why 35 for dd? Do you go up to 6k in DD? I barely go 4k normal drive. I think fp green or 30 is best for dd. 35 above is for tracks.

Since money doesnt seem to be an issue, I agree with other posters about finding a reputable tuner in your area to assess what you have, map out your problems and then meet the goals you have for the car. Good luck!

sure timing might help spool, but how is changing to a higher duration cam going to allow you to increase timing?
Cam and engine theory 101 should help you understand what happens in a dynamic engine cycle. Especially when you help process more airflow by overcamming the engine to breathe a bit better.

Didnt get for DD.. but i actually love it for DD. Everyone who says dd a 35r is annoying are stupid imo.. dont need to hit full boost to DD.

I'd put the stock T back on, return the car to basic mod, get a mellon tune and call it a day. Sell then invest all those mods.

+1 for the boost leak test.

I have seen people easily loose 4-6mph in their quater mile traps with significant boost leaks. This would also cause later spoolup.

Talk about the wrong choice of mods....did everything to soon too fast. Should have upgraded in stages and learnt about the car.
