Besides the Evo model, they are planning to release a U.S. street version of the RalliArt car, also a 2004 model. It will have a 2.4L engine, 150-170 hp, different paint schemes, a few other goodies, and be retail priced about $19k-$20k.
He's right. Unfortunatly cause we wont get our AYC and ACD, but when I was putting my down payment down for my evo, he said a little after teh evo comes out "there will be a less powerfull model to compete with the WRX."

Well, the guy at my dealer told me that the evo 7 will be here in jan, and very close to full spec, so they can get it here before the sti, then there will be a lower spec version coming AFTER that to compete with the WRX.

I just got the magazine in question. If you read closely, I think you'll see that they put a fraudulant story together. They claim to be talking about the American EVO7 and STI, yet the test was the Euro EVO and STI AND they hedge their predictions by saying things like "estimated". At no point do they quote factual information from Sube or Mitsi. The comparison of the cars was interesting, but the real story (about the American versions) was a fake. As far as I know, the EVO 7 is still coming out in January.
