After owning the car for over 3 years, I have total parts, etc about $13.5K. I'm ready to invest another 15K min to get the engine and turbo where I want it. Next year though!

Damn! If I had paid full price for everything on my car I would probably have well over $30k in my car, but since I trade and barter and build up to where I need to be, I've probably only actually spent about $17k. Second hand parts FTW!!! I've also sold a lot of parts to defer the cost of the next rounds of mods so that has helped quite a bit.

I don't really "pay" for my parts....i charge labor for installing and removal of parts. Then i put their "used" parts on "if good condition" on my car. I just got my fp red for hmmm 8 hrs of wrenching....i like...it's nice. paying for new parts and having to pay someone install them.
