ive heard it is one of the most accurate boost readings available. My defi gauge reads 1 pound heavy at boost then the controller and then usually .5 a point lower in vacuum. Last few times on the dyno, the dyno reads the exact boost my greddy does although they are pulling boost from 2 different points. My defi and greddy share the same boost source but read different

Probably because your defi is mechanical (maybe?) and the profec I assume runs of a MAP type sensor which would be more accurate.

my defis are the BF series... the EBC does not use a map sensor, it simply reads the vacuum source supplied by running a hose from the unit directly to a T in the vacuum system.... they are both pulling reference off of the same T

The sensor is more then likely internal to the unit, much like the control unit for the SMC alky injection.

From my use of it. Its basically dead on with a dyno, my boost gauge, and my jdm map sensor. The profec is off like .1 from a zeroed JDM map on my car. It could vary car to car I suppose
