bov position
i just replaced my hks bov with the jdm 9 mr bov. but im not sure if i have it installed correctly. i have the big side facing towards the passager side. it doesnt make any noise and its running good. any pictures would help. i just want to know b4 i damage anything

The side opposite of the gold part should be pointing towards your intercooler piping and the "side" should be pointing towards your intake pipe. Just think that the pressurized air should be hitting the part that is closed by the valve.

and as for azzmasta, it's not about making noise, evo's on factory MAF sensors should not run VTA bov's like the HKS SSQV, it will throw off the readings, as well as causing the turbo to stop spooling, so it will have to spool up again in between each shift
