My Hazard backlight for the hazard light button is out...does anyone know how to change it?

 

Is there a light? I don't recall noticing. If you need to get the button out, first you have to remove the bezel around the cluster, then the bezel around the radio and AC controls (just pull the knobs out, there are 2 screws behind them, then it just pops off with some force). That should revel the screws for the long dash piece. Once you get that piece off you should have access to the button. Not sure if there is a replaceable bulb in it, but that is how you get it out.

 

Yea I swear that the little triangle in the switch used to light up and now it doesnt, but damn thats alot of work just to get to one bulb>~!

 

you know, mine doesnt light up, and I thought it did before, but never really paid attention

 

It does not light up on mine either...

 

I had to check after this thread. I do have a light behind mine, lol. I don't think I ever would have noticed.

How long did it take you to do the installation

 

mine lights up, never changed it though, I would imagine you'd reomove that interior piece and perhaps it pulls out from the back or something

I didn't install or uninstall anything, I just know how to take it apart. It should only take about 15-20 mins.
