The 0-30 is more geared towards Turbo cars and 10-30 towards NA. You can use the 10-30, but for a few dollars more, I would run the 0-30. Talk to OilDoc, he can break it down better and sell you a case at a good deal.

You can't just say 10W-30 as AMSOIL has several of them.

ATM 10W-30 is the oil for the EVO, but the SSO 0W-30 is the Top of The Line.

ATM and SSO are the only oils recommended by AMSOIL for the EVO. I would not recommend the AMSOIL EA Filter for the EVO but instead the WIX 57092.

If anyone would like a quote on AMSOIL, I have a couple complete packages worked up. Everything is at Dealer Cost, No Mark-Up... You pay what I pay, plus I give you a Complimentary 6 month Preferred Customer Membership with any order.

We also carry NGK Plugs and Wires and MOTHERS Appearance Products.

Please use my email oildoc@bestoil4you.com

Toll Free ordering at 1-877-356-6099

Thanks, Doc

I change my oil every 2500miles...along with my copper plugs. I recently got some Amsoil products so i'll be trying it out shortly.

Depends on which oil you use, if your engine is stock and well maintained and how you drive it.

Just as with the OEM's recommendations where they recommend X number of miles. It is under ideal conditions, unmodified engines and "Normal" Driving. I have not come across an EVO Owner that really fits any or all of those requirements which means that the oil change frequency needs to be cut back.

If you are running AMSOIL Product Codes ATM or SSO along with a Premium Quality Filter such as the WIX I recommend, I wouldn't worry about going to 7500 miles unless the car is tracked a lot.

Anytime an engine is modified, used hard or raced, it would be wise to build a baseline oil change interval using oil analysis.

That being said, I am working up a price for a Remote By-Pass filter which will take a small amount of oil at a time and pass it through a 1 Micron Filter keeping the oil analytically clean and also adding more oil to the system. I need to find someone that knows a good location to mount it, how much line would be needed and the fittings required. You could even mount it in the trunk and run Stainless line most of the way.

Could pull the oil from the oil pressure sending unit easy enough, but need a place to return it. If the filler cap is thin enough, I have a Banjo fitting that might work.
