Hello,
I have a problem to start the car. (USDM)
I wanted to copy my only key and they checked it and told me they cannot do it, but now the car does not start (also no gong/buzzer anymore).
I tried to disable the immobilizer with 0000 and FFFF but still nothing...
Everything works ok, but when I turn to start the voltage goes to 0 V but
the battery still has 12 V. (startmotor does not turn)
Before I could start it with no problem. Is the key code modified or is something
else a miss ?
Can anyone help me please ?

 

I hope you don't have to take it to the dealer. It's probably the key if everything in the car is ok. Good luck

 

Your clutch switch may have slipped and is not getting pressed when you push the clutch down. Check that and see if you can get it to turn over. The immobilizer won't effect the starter motor, so that is not the problem.

yea like the previous poster said, go under the dash and disconnect the clutch switch, it takes one more thing out of the loop. Now your car will start without having to push the clutch down. be carefull

 

do you have a green key symbol on the dashboard? Also you can key a spare yourself if you have the 2 original keys.

FYI setting your immobilizer code to 0000/FFFF does NOT disable the anti theft device. You have to do that in the ECU periphery settings.

It was the clutch switch. I never had a car which is in neutral gear can
not start...
So after putting the clutch down it fired right up.
