So like i asked a long time ago, has anyone used the 9500i. I hear this is almost as good as the v1(and i like the design better) and what about the new zr4 shifter from cincinnati microwave(escort), i was planning on linking the two and having a kickass setup for about 900 bucks

Hope this helps
That's hilarious!!!!

I think most ppl that used 9500 and are serious about radar detection have returned it as it has some bugs that need to be worked out. AFAIK.

Bel and Escort are out of the same house now. check the addresses. most of there products are similar with a different housing. as far as the 9500i, as stated above there are some glitches with it , like not recognizing signals in a certain area, since it blocks out a bigger frequency range, blah blah blah.

if you really want GPS in your radar, you still need to wait a bit

im a bit of a noob with radar detectors and stuff like that. ive been searching and reading but didn't really get what i was looking for. Im not sure what cops use in my area, but would it be helpful to have both laser and radar dection?? is there one device that detects both???

The V1 (my personal choice), Passport X50, and Beltronics RX65 all have radar/laser detection. If you're getting hit with laser and your detector picks it up, chances are you're already too late unless you also have a laser jammer.

The Valentine One is the best radar/lidar detector.

The Laser Interceptor, Laser Pro Park, and Antilaser are the best laser jammers on the market.

The laser jammers do work, yes You still need to be cautious, however.

Just go to youtube.com and type in Laser Interceptor, Laser Pro Park, or Antilaser and you will find videos of them in action jamming police lidar (laser) guns.
