AWD and E-break?
You are an idiot. Hrmm lets see...the Evo has its roots DEEEP in the rally circuit. In fact I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that our cars were rally inspired and quite up to the task of participating in rally like conditions. You do not need to have a $200k car to have a little fun off roading do you? By your reason...you shouldn't even be driving you're own car because it wasn't FULLY BUILT to take all of your 292hp to the local starbucks and show off to a bunch of teenie boppers.
I'm so sick of single minded ****** who think they know everything.

well i daily drive my evo and its never been on a track...
so im not sure what your talking about. i dont think my car is a race car, its just my daily driver. your a f*cking noob. get a life. all i know is im not the one making a thread about e-braking. learn something about cars you *******.... more importantly learn to drive your car.
oh sorry my power levels arent up to your par, you obviously know nothing about dynos and evo's if your gonna try to rag on me about 292whp on a mustang dyno with the very little mods i have.... your one cool guy. go take you and your 80 posts to another forum you f*cking waste of human life. dont crowd up this form asking a stupid question thats been answered a million times on here
^ wow, you completely misunderstood the power statement, and just because someone has more posts doesn't mean their posts contributed more to the public. It's the quality of the info not quantity. Wasn't it gallas who started the thread? Just pointing out the obvious. Back to studying =X
hmmm

Good night.
what happened to the OP?
here's a tip, if you don't know what you're doing, don't try it.
Go to a racing school, they're all over the place, they can help you figure out how to drive your car well. Or at least play GT5 instead of NFS, and watch F1 instead of F&F.

I'm a huge proponent of experimenting with stuff like that. For one, it removes that "heart pounding excitement/adrenaline" factor, making surviving an emergency situation much more probable. As an example, years ago now, I was in a parking lot around christmas. Some lady came way to fast toward me and started sliding into the corner. My child was in the car and we were talking at the time, I e-breaked the car around and out of her way with inches to spare and never stopped the conversation. Meanwhile my kids are so used to me doing "stupid" things with them in the car that she didn't even stop talking. Years ago that would have left me studdering, heart racing, or worse, drivers door caved in.
It's through trial, acclimation, and aclimatization that we get better at absolutely everything.
So let the kids e-break drift and bust their rear ends. No one's telling you that you have to, and years from now when they grow up and have children they'll be way better drivers because of it, after they've outgrown it.
