Someone I know has one and was thinking of picking it up servicing it and maybe selling it. Mostly bolt on exhaust..

Car is in excellent condition. I baby it 74,xxx miles.Also has black suede and leather recaro red stitching on the seats.CarbonNew ipod attachment for the new flip out dvd player kenwood edition. Custom gauges fitting in the dash, Car has been in the hands of me and only one other owner. Garaged and kept clean i detail for a living. I have had no problems with this car besides that i need something bigger i have invested well over 8thousand into it and it could be more all receipted like i said. Ask questions and email. This car also has carbon fiber mirrors and much carbon fiber accents which makes it look sleek.It also has a new alarm system installed last year.I have receipts from every oil change even. I am looking for the best offer.

 

I haven't really been able to find a true definitive price range on what to ask for my car. It is a '03 Evo with 2.4l 13k on the motor and odo showing 70k. Car has been well taken care of but not pristine. Other mods include fuel pump, intake, cop, dvd unit, all new pulleys and belts, and fuel rail...also I have the stock block and all the internals which I would include that only has one spun rod bearing. Any help would be greatly appreciated, what do you guys think? I was thinking asking 19k and settling around 17.

I'm looking at a 03 evo 8 with 11k miles locally. Owner is asking 25k but I think I might be able to talk him down to 24k. Do you guys think it's worth it? Half of me just wants to pull the trigger but the other half can't rationalize spending 25k on a now 10+ years old car. I would have jumped on it if it were a ix but I haven't seen a 03 hold value this much.

 

Is it bone stock? Also keep in mind that if it's owner hasn't changed the belts, you might want to anyway since if they haven't yet been replaced (even if it's only 11k miles), those would be 11 year old parts.

 

Yes. At least it is now. The owner did tell me it was 'never modified.'

I am definitely concerned about the condition of rubber parts. Timing and drive belts can at least be replaced at the time of purchase and be dealt with. But there are 100s of parts made of rubber that can still go bad. Suspension / engine bay / interior, you name it. I had a low mileage 97 3000GT VR4 for 9 years so I kind of know from the experience.

But still, 11k miles? So tempting...
