evo maintenance
hey guys, i notice that some of you had civic si's before having the evo. Can those of you who had the civic tell me a little bit on the cost of maintenance compared to the evo. Like basically oil changes, tranny fluids, and maybe like life span of a turbo, diff fluids, labor, and etc. I just want to see if i could afford to keep an evo
if it makes a difference... im in Canada so i think the prices are much different here since there are like basically no evo viii or ix's around here.
* this is the right thread right? *

well,it all depends if you want to use Quality parts/fluids on your evo,an Oil change cost around 50 dollars for me,because i use AMS oil,it could cost around 25 dollars if i used Mobile 1.
my turbo has lasted 80K miles, and seen 28 PSI on a monthly basis...
if you take your car to the dealer for maintenance....prepare to spend ALOT!!!
and tires are very expensive compaired to a civic

Evo's have the higher cost to maintain, but that's the price you have to pay for the admission ticket of the "ROLLER COASTER" ride you get in the Evo. hahaha
