Yes, The White STI owner was very surprised, hes like "Wow, so this is an EVO!"
He said the experience gave him motivation to mod his vehicle.
Pretty proud moment to be an EVO owner, knowing this car is about 15 years old, it can still kick ***. =P

I have a everything needed for about 550hp build, incoming this year. Just need to finalized small parts purchases. Bolts, gaskets, hoses, etc. Cant wait !

 

Yeah, proves Evos are better and can still embarrass newer cars.

 

Put my bright *** calipers on in the rain, ignore the flat tires. It went back up on jack stands after I took the picture.

What brake calipers are those?

 

They're factory Evo Brembo’s, powder coated neon green.

 

Might have to steal that color man, I was just looking at the Brembo yellow and thinking about that but this looks even better with the EB

 

I stole the idea from a world rally blue Subaru haha. Prismatic powders is where I got the color, and clear coat. Completely rebuilt the calipers as well.

 

Installed some LED H11 fogs over the weekend...color is really nice but the brightness is a lil lacking. Oh well they were cheap so

 

Did many things to my 9 (most are same mods I already had on but was forced to remove because I got reffed in 2019)

I regret not taking pictures but oh well...

• Had clunk noise coming from the passenger side so I replaced the stock strut/swift springs with a set of Tein coil overs. This solved that problem
• Installed gauge pod and boost + AFR AEM gauges
• Open dump pipe
• Megan Racing res test pipe
• Tomei exhaust
• AEM intake
• AMS intercooler
• Routed battery to the trunk (right side)
• Short route intercooler piping

5150 Racing will be installing and tuning on E85 tomorrow

• S2 cams + springs + studs
• Wally 450 pump
• ID 2k CC

Sucks for that guy. 5150 recently moved to a new location and I'm sure that's why communication was limited.

I've been going to them for over 5 years (when I had my evo X and now my 9) and never had an issue.

Not trying to start a he said/she said argument but 5150 Racing has been taking care of me and many others too.
