Is it worth it to buy a IX over a VIII? (interior)

I am in the process of selling my 350z. I have had my heart set on an Evo for sometime now. I've been trolling the For Sale forums for a few months.

I want to hear from actual buyers and owners of Evo's, do you guys think the Evo IX is worth getting over the VIII interior wise? I have fallen in love with the IX front bumper, and will be putting it on the VIII if I buy one, so the exterior is not in question. I also understand the mechanical differences. I'm speaking purely based on the interior. Opinions and comments are welcome.

Thank you.

I have an VIII and I have to say I like the IX's better. They seem like they were put together better. The ride feels better, interiors better, etc.

I love the IX interior. The seats are great, and they look much better then the blue on the VIII's. And, if you get a SE... the red stitching really looks good.

i bought my IX about a month ago. Totally glad i went with it. It was a little more expensive than an VIII, but it's getting harder and harder to find a low mileage VIII that is in good condition. trust me i spent about the last year looking. so if a few grand is not an issue, then i would definitely go with the IX.

The only difference in the interior are the seats, steering wheel color and fake carbon fiber dash trim. The seats make the biggest difference and look a lot better than the VIII seats expecially with the red stitching on the SE model.

Don't forget MIVEC. It's like buying an VIII with cams. Maybe not stock for stock but BOLT-ON for BOLT-ON the IX makes what the VIII makes with cams.

i think the IX interior feels waaay better. The evo 8 SSL package looks good though. And you could buy an aftermarket CF dash trim instert too, i think rexpeed makes them.

The way I see it, the IX was perfected verision of that generation. You won't have any regrets...
