How To: Modding your Evo ~$100 at a time!
noob question:
do you need a retune after installing a walbro 255? Or can you just drop it in and go? I'm not too familiar w/ evos yet, but do you have to adjust any fuel pump settings (such as voltage) in the tune? Or is this a plug and play?
also, will I be safe doing the following on a stock fuel pump (91 octane):
-ETS LICP
-Megan 02 housing
-busher TBE
-perrin filter
-ported stock exhaust manifold

The stock pump is perfectly capable of supplying fuel for the above mods. A retune would be best after you install a Walbro 255 pump though. If you do perform the mods you listsed I highly suggest you get a retune anyway since there will be a lot to gain!

They lower the seats about 1.5" and they're somewhere in the $180 (retail) range. I bought mine through MAP though so you'd have to contact Adam with MAP for current pricing.

Contact the jid2 who originally made the seat brackets I believe he is the only source now and doesn't have many left and there is no plans that I know of to make more but he should be able to answer that fully.
superhelpful insight on the cheap mods, I'm in no way a noob to cars or evos, but I read this thread and it inspired me to do work.
I changed the clutchline shifter bushings inside and underhood plus deleted the clutch restrictor. Day and night mang. Took a little time but damn worth it.

Its very easy to do, just be sure to get a new container of DOT4 brake fluid to use when bleeding the hydraulic system and always remember to keep the reservoir full since the clutch's tank is internally separated from the brake's.
