Evo's Rust Issues [MEGA MERGE]
I just had my bumper off yesterday and didn't see a hint of rust, but I just got it no more than 2 months ago. In the winter I get an underbody pressure wash every week.
One thing that worried me was the dirt and grime build-up under the bumper cover. I think I might have to take all the body panels off my car next time I wash it!

According to fireball (moderator, also the guy who sold me my Evo) You need to wax your wing often with a UV Pretectant car wax, like Mequirs gold class. If you do not your wing will start bubbling under the laminate. There will be thousands of little dots before you know it. If you wax it often, talk to the dealer and see what they can do.
GoGO thread necromancy!!
Back on topic: This is why I sprayed my car with 5 cans of anti-rust when I first bought her and never drive when its wet out. It might be overkill but I do plan on keeping the evo for life!

I don't even own one and I'm angry. I'm angry because the car is everything I want - turbo, AWD, 4-door, name-brand parts on it stock, good performance, good handling, everything. But it's made by
so it's turning out to be a typical low-quality
automobile. Subaru is barely better.

oh...ok
well i found another how to that said bumper removal and ix bumper install...that one helped out a lot...the other one that just said rear bumper removal did not help me at all...but thanks to the other one i got it
