Electrical problem...HELP

Ok over the summer my 8 one night after turning off the car kept the instrumental panel lights on...after turning the car off and trying to start it...the engine wouldnt turn over...thought it was my valet mode on my alarm..it wasnt..left it alone so the battery died.....after fooling around with all the fuses..oddly enough after taking out the blinker and flasher fuse the car started right up. so i left that fuse out til now..then in september my windshield wipers start going off randomly and wouldnt turn off!...now I have both problems...my sidemarker lights stay on, interior lights on after the car is off..that started last week...a few days ago the wipers go off and turn off when switching the right turn signal..

Should I just take it to get looked at? what the heck is going on!

Check the wiring harness under the driver side kick panel for evidence of corrosion from water intrussion. There is a TSB about this.

yeah i remember that thread...water prolly got into ur fuse box...you can solder all the wires together and put silicon around the wires going through the grommet under the fender...there is another thread besides that water leak thread with pics...i forget what it was called

I would agree on checking the driver side kick panel. Good luck.

Check a thread started by me Electrical Gremlins from rain. Everything you need to fix it is in there 100%. On my BB so its a PITA to link it. Its a sticky in the Advanded Electrical section. PM me if you need a better understanding on fixing it. Don't worry you'll love youe EVO again soon LOL

I wouldn't trust just any shop to fix it its a PITA fix. Replacing the entire harness is expensive and not needed. The best/cheapest fix is just to hard solder all wires together. I'm in NJ I could fix it if you guys can get it out here or just make sure you explain to the shop 100% what you want done
