wow IMO something now can come of this.

i agree its a great idea to take the top 3 or 4 from each event and have a face off. and also allow a buy in. like if others want to come and have a second shot have them buy back in or something.

the events are set on the same day only for the reasons to **** off the br staff and to make some more bs drama. it does nothing for the community in any way but harm it.

ITS DONE thanks it . the dates can not be set. BUT can we at least get an answer from the people who cant answer the real reason the dates where set the same day that this will not happen again. that way the community can have 2 great events????????????????????????????????????

this year is done. lets setup a face off of the top runners at each shootout.

next year we have 2 shootouts. both set on different dates. and then rematches, bets and other fun type racing can go on. you talk crap at one event you got another to back your s$%t up. could be alot of fun

Marco was banned from the SO, agree? That was hatred from Dave right? That right there alienated him from the SO and all of Marco's supporters were also upset at this. So the next thing to do is start their very own race.

Next up we have a lot of vendor bashing going on that is tied in with Buschur, you, Al and Dave have all had some pretty bad things to say about AMS, TTP and TT. More hatred from your side.

I can tell you people do not like to hear about how much you do not like Scott. I happen to like TTP and what they have to offer. I have had a few dealings with them and Scott has helped me even 2 years after the sale with some follow up questions.

If you do not like what they have to offer, don't be pissy about it. Don't say that they suck and your product is 100 times better. If I ever walked into your shop and heard you bad mouth a competitor, I would leave on the spot. I worked in the aftermarket for 13 years before I switched jobs. I did everything from leather, power moon roof installs, built in navs, alarms, remote starts, tint... you name it and I have probably installed it. 4 years ago I got hurt and couldn't do the heavy stuff anymore so I took some classes on sales and I had also done some fill in's over the years and I NEVER bad mouthed any other shop. At the time there were 5 shops within 4 miles of us. If someone wanted a comparison on say an alarm system, I would say there's works great, but with mine I could offer the customer service, backed by a company in business for 36 years. I was nice, polite and always ready to listen to what the customer wants.

You qualify what they want and then what they had to spend. Bad mouthing another company is no different then bad mouthing a customer once they leave the door. Even if they are a moron, be nice to them and they will buy from you. Then they will let their friends now too.

You and Al love to use the words hatred, coward and a few other choice words, but look at what actually happened to start this **** storm, hate, bashing, flaming....

Dave, I have been to a SO before, I had a kick *** time to boot and I would go again if I had the chance.

My point about the rain date was die hard SO goer's who went anyway to Ohio that year did NOT make the rainout date. Guys were talking about leaving friday night, race Saturday then drive home Sunday to be back to work on Monday. So no time off of work was needed and people did not do it.

Why? I am not sure yet, but I think it has to do with travel time, money and the fact most people (not vendors or shops) do not want to go all over creation 2 times in a season.

The principle is the same here, 2 chances to race and how many people went for it? there may have been a bunch of people at the rain out date, but what I am asking is how many of them went on the rain out date that did go to Ohio for the that got rained out? I know a bunch of the NE guys took the chance and went out and did not go back to the make up, they wanted to, but didn't.

Now your event is the same time next year, when would be a good time for TT to have this event? I think it was 6 weeks in between your rain day and make up, so I imagine you would need 2 months to get everyone together to have time off and have a car ready.

Early season would not work because people are just getting the cars dialed in from winter upgrades. Anytime before the End of June sucks because of school aged guys (college and families who go) so that leaves July or October. October really didn't work great for the make up day from the looks of it, from what I could find anyway.

Buschur Banned Marco..

Marco and TTR took out the banning along with many other shops on the ENTIRE community by creating the race on the SAME EXACT DAY..

Nobody can fault them for creating their own race.. I would DO THE EXACT SAME THING and Create my OWN RACE.. I just wouldnt take it out on the entire community by making it on the SAME EXACT DAY.. That doesnt better anyone but the creators of the race hidden agenda.. PERIOD..

 

We are all adults here. We can and will assume all things. It may have bin the only date or out of spite. I personally don’t care. I have gone to Ohio in the past and may even go in the future.

Lets not get to ethical here. If we are pointing fingers this thread may run clean out of control. The magical dyno numbers, tuning services, parts being promoted to no end and to come to find out the junk doesn’t even work. We all know those threads are there but not spoken of.

We all have done and said some things with pure motive behind them. Screw the bs and lets race.

So Mike lets talk. August is a long ways. When will your car be ready. Maybe we can offer some pre shout out entertainment. How will your car sit. Awd, rwd, fuel, weight, etc? I am a fair man. If you come heavy but sit like me I can spot you accordingly but I can only assume the same curtsy in return.

 

Grudge racing doesnt spot lengths.. When I make some call outs well run what we brung.. If your lighter so be it.. 1st to end gets paid.. Ill be AWD so the field will be level as far as i am concerned..

If you are talking about the v2, it does work. I will vouch for it, I had one and still would run it if indy didnt take this out on everyone. I sold it because of the service and people behind it, not how the product worked.

If you read ALL the testing, it didnt outperform the stock ported on low boost (30 psi). But when the boost was uped to 40 psi the V2 outperformed it again. So on high boost levels and high hp levels, the V2 still performed the best so far except for DBs personal design.

So that testing has been reverified.

 

So I guess if man A says I have a small block ford with two systems and man B says I am on raw small block ford. They should run head up? Screw it maybe you don’t know were I am coming from.

I just looked at the updated entry list, 8 - 8 second Evo's are coming with 2 more possiblies, a 7 second evo and a 6 second Eclipse.

That day is going to suck.

 

Buschur shootout was sweet had a blast last year going this year

 

you cannot compare RWD domestics.. In the Import world we are on the same playing field as far as i am concerned cause were are both AWD.. I think I proved last year at 782whp you can be quicker than 4 digit HP cars.. So the big block Evos didnt prove to be much quicker.. You feel where i am coming from?? Of course ill be running a big block evo later on this year and I expect it to run as it should.. Will be a few months before i am ready..

please name off these 8-8 second cars, because if i remember correctly there were only 5 last year, and 2 were Buschur cars (black car and Mikes rs) and both those are coming to the shootout. So where are these 5 more + a 7 second car coming from?
