Headlights Randomly Don't Work?

Have any of you come across this before? I am running an HID kit, but I have been for the past 2 years. The headlights randomly won't come on. I say randomly because it has done this once before, and then after the car had sat for a while and I just tried turning the lights back on they worked. I had thought it would have something to do with the HID's but both of them don't turn on at the same time.

Any suggestions?

Which HID kit did you purchase? Where did you purchase it? What bulbs are you using? If you answer any of these questions with Ebay, then you know where you went wrong. Otherwise, check your connections, and make sure excess moisture is not making it to the bulbs or ballasts.

IIKDO, from a vendor on the site. I thought maybe ballasts but both when out at the same time.. what are the common connections I should be checking?

Have had them with no problems for about a year and a half - I just don't get why both wouldn't work at the same time unless it was some sort of connection issue
