Thinking of selling EvO
Interesting dilemma which I think many of us will experience.
In my case I've had my Evo for just over 3.5 years and it's a really fun car, but honestly the car's capabilities (as I have it currently modified) are wasted on me.
I work odd hours, so I do not drive the car often (still under 12k miles), don't track the car, seen the dragstrip about 7 times, so I'm thinking I want something a little less hardcore.
The Evo's replacement will still be a fun powerful car but not in the mold of an Evo.
Bottom line is that everybody has different tastes in cars and these tastes tend to change over time, so just test drive some cars and pick the one you feel matches your needs.

I'm in the same boat, I turn 30 in a week and own an 05 evo 40,000 on the clock. I out grew the loudness but not the fun factor. I would love an 80's/90's porsche 911 but I don't want the price tag when it comes to fixing it. The 335 is out of my range. I was thinking of the G8 GXP, big sedan tons of horsepower, the motor has been around for awhile so the parts should be cheap. The evo is not my DD it sits there until I decide to **** off my wife and fire it up at 6:00 in the morning to drive it to work. One more thing I have to think about though is my DD is getting up there in miles so maybe another toy is not the best thing to do. Any way there are plenty of us out there and there is no right answer just make sure your job is stable before you dive into an expensive car.
I feel like that sometimes myself, iam 31 years old but to tell you the truth every time i drive my evo at wot or see other evo driving by iam saying to my self that its going to be hard to live without it or i might regret it later but its your decision

I'm not trying to be like anyone or anything. Some of you guys get it and others don't. I just think I'm growing up. Who knows. I'm def going to test drive some cars and see how things go.
Maybe I'll keep the evo after all.

Worst case scenario: Get quietest exhaust you can find, be it past the stocker if you have to. Im not sure what the quietest is. For some reason I see lots of men in the " mid-life crisis" stage buying evos and/or STis. I still think they carry enough class as l dong as you dont rice them out with body kits, super fart cans, and such.

My wife and I were on the I-80, in the center lane hoping to get around a truck and the road was jammed. Suddenly, without looking, a lady in a big white Buick decides to occupy our lane. Doing 80, I saw that big white front fender coming over and I cranked the wheel. Now, we were in the median grass and headed for oncoming traffic – not good. So, I managed to straighten the car out without spinning and saw we were headed for one of those crossovers the cops sit on – not good. So I slapped on the binders and the car just stopped.
Put us in any other car and we'd be dead. I'll stick with the Evo. BTW, I'm 62.

I guess that's fine, just don't get hit in the door in the Evo or you might be singing a different tune.

I have an Evo, 335xi, and an V10 M5... I honestly prefer the DRIVING experience of my Evo to the other two. However, the 335xi is a significantly less stressful (and less exciting) car to drive. There are ways to subdue the look of the Evo, your primary concern about switching to a type of car like the 335 is that you want a less stressful drive and everything that is associated with it. It is a heavier, slower, tamer car that is legitimately more comfortable and mature. If you like to drive, I promise you will be disappointed with the switch, but if you are truly looking for a more chilled out driving experience with the option to hammer on the loud pedal a little bit, the 335xi will fill you up right.
