Lets here from the Evolution Import Evo VII guys

It has been about a month since this was last stirred up, so I thought I would check to see if any progress has been made?

How well are the "owners" taking it now that is has been 18+ months since they handed over their $?

Who would be dumb enough to actually admit to being an EI victim?

Wait, I'm one of those victims....

You can say its dumb, but it just where you put the money in you have the choice of leaving and staying. Some just decide to stay. I feel that yes I did lose several grand.... but all this wait, I think its a waste to just give up. I really honestly want the car, and I'm willing to wait.

You must have ***** of steel to hand over $30,000+ to total strangers
Hell I would be even hesitant to hand over $$$ to Motorex and waiting 6+ months for my GTR and they are a legit proven company

I feel for the e7 guys that invested in this. They got hosed, tommy.

Do a search for evolution imports, there's a HUGE thread regarding it .. which explains the issue.

unfort evo's are not well reguarded in Europe....Japanese cars are not that neat to Europeans (except in the UK) ...plus you would have to transport it there, etc..... You would lose your a$$ on that account.

Making it a race car would be sweet....except there aren't that many places you can use it.... SCCA? I don't think there is anything that it qualify's for except for some Rally racing which... there are factory teams now so you would need a huge budget and a great driving team to even compete.

O ya... and... Now that the cars are almost 2 full years old, their value has dropped a fair amount just on that account..... a $30k in early 2002 is now worth $20k in the Used car market...even with nearly no miles on them.....

It is too bad that EI did not do any research!

I'd buy an Evo VII if push came to shove and you Americans can't get it into the States....I'm sure I could get it legitimized up here in Canada.
