When little kids see your Evo.....
Some guy at Wal-Mart asked me why I didn't put any carbon fiber parts on the car. Cause it's not my style and it's too flashy? There's already enough stolen cars around here, don't need to make mine the next victim.
Unsuspecting victims
. Same thing a friend told me. Except he claims to stalk retirement communities and reek havoc on the unsuspecting. Just don't do it to old folks with pace makers.
Yeah kids love the car, and the sound and the big wing. It's like having a bunch of fans...only smaller and younger. :P
I once got stopped by a cop on foot in front of the Field museum in Chicago, he wanted to know all about the car. He asked how fast it goes and how much they are. I was late for a movie but I didn't want to be rude so I just answered all his questions to be nice.

one day, while i was driving off a canadian tire lot, i had my front windows open for ventilation... anyway, i heard one little girl say to her mom: "look mom, a yellow sports car!"
this is a true story! no bs!

Was cruising down one of the main boulevards around here during the summer and some kid in a loud cobalt ss decided to try a flyby. Yanked his behind back REAL fast lol when we stopped at the next light he leaned out his window and was like "....DUDE..THAT THING IS SICK!" The girl in his passenger seat had this kinda
look on her face it was pretty funny. I usually catch the high school crowd staring the most. Driving through my college campus is a riot, I get looks from EVERYONE, be it guys, girls, and security with sourpuss faces like this -
. I've been told to change my exhaust because they don't like hearing it, my response was "I pay your salary twice over with my tuition, you should be giving me gas money, VIP parking, and a hand car wash every time I'm here. Have a good one"

I usually drive with my windows up, but a lot of times when I drive by a group of youngsters I can clearly read their lips as they all say: "e-v-o-l-u-t-i-o-n" haha it's happened a few times lol
Can't really top this compliment. I pulled into a hotel and left it running out front (I could see it at all times, and it was a low crime area) and quickly asked if the had vacancy(they didn't) and as I left a kid about 16 years old said "I just wanted to let you know that you have the sickest car in the world." I really didn't know what to say, so I think I just said "sickest that I can afford anyway" or something stupid.
My friend and I were walking out of Subway today and some kid that was leaning into his friends car which was conveniently parked next to my Evo asked me if my car was "the one with the turbo" I just smiled and said yes. I should have said "no, it's the slow version, the faster one has the hubcaps for rims." LOL...
I think the best on i have had lately, i was pulled over around 8pm the cop was an older gentleman he said that he pulled me over for blue headlight (i have the stock HID) after explaining what HID lights were he then proceeded to tell me that while it may be fun to modify my car that i need to keep it legal..... my car is stock.... really? all of it the big rims and the wing the hood all that came with the car? ...yes... lol
I havent had any children comment on these cars but my 87 year old grandmother said that the car looked like a cartoon character. It blew me and my brothers mind when she said that and we both started laughing hysterically.
Not really a little kid story, but relevant hehe
A while ago i was driving home from work one night and was stopped at a traffic light. i had the windows down and i suddenly heard someone behind me yell out "You wanna race?! we got a ****ing jet!" i turn around and see 4 male cheerleaders (in their outfits) laughing in a dodge caravan. i just shrugged it off like i always do but as the light turned green i heard one of the passengers yell "punch it do it do it!" and heard the driver floor it. so at this point i thought to myself, do i really want to lose to 4 male cheerleaders in a minivan? ill let you guys can guess how it ended

I'm really wondering about the cop though. There's a lot of new cars out there with HIDs stock so it can't be his first time seeing yours.
